The 2019 CrossFit Games were the 13th CrossFit Games and were held from August 1–4, 2019, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. The men's competition was won by Mat Fraser, the women's by Tia-Clair Toomey, and CrossFit Mayhem Freedom won the Team competition, all of whom also won the 2018 games.

The CrossFit Games will return once more to Madison, Wisconsin, in the late summer of 2019. Participants in the individual Games competition will consist of: (1) National Champions as determined by the CrossFit Games Open; (2) first-place Sanctionals winners; (3) the top 20 overall finishers in the CrossFit Games Open; and (4) four at-large athletes selected by CrossFit Inc. THE 2020 SANCTIONALS The 2020 CrossFit Sanctionals season started in Dublin, Ireland, in November 2019, with the Filthy 150. This year’s CrossFit Games Rookie of the Year, Justin Medeiros, won the event, proving he had what it took to compete with the big dogs. For the 2020 season, the Open moved forward to October 2019 as part of the overhaul for Games qualifications so that it took place before any of the sanctioned events. It was again moved back to March for the 2021 season, but reduced to four workouts in three weeks.
