The CrossFit workout template suggests you work out 5 times per week using a schedule of working out 3 days and then taking 1 day off. When you have been training some time (as a very general rule of thumb let’s say 3-6 months) this is a great workout frequency that will give you incredible results.

How many people do CrossFit in the world? Approximately 216,000 to 432,000 people do CrossFit in the world. This is based on the fact that there are over 15,000 CrossFit gyms in over 150 countries as of 2019. Each gym typically hosts 6-8 daily classes of 12 people on average, 6 days per week.

Whether you are brand new to CrossFit, or a veteran athlete, going 3-5 days a week is the most common attendance rate! In general, most should go a minimum of 3 days a week, and no more than 5 days in a row. There should ALWAYS be a minimum of one day a week that is a true REST day to allow for proper recovery.

I did 3 times per week for the first two or three weeks. Perfect advice above, you will need to listen to your body. Because Crossfit uses your entire body, it's going to take several weeks, maybe up to two months for all the muscles to "activate".

It might be twice a day, It might be twice a week. Crossfit is not your standard 3 times a week body part split workout program. One day might be a 5km run the next week you might throw in a 2km swim just to break things up. 100km bike ride. Personally I love throwing in some track sessions, when I couldn't be bothered going to the box.

Honestly, as a beginner, as often as 2-3 CrossFit classes per week is adequate. Whatever you decide, try to stay consistent, as that’s more important than how many you make in any given week!

If you aren’t interested in reading the full explanation below then I recommend the following training frequency for the average CrossFit Impulse athlete: Train 4 or 5 days per week. Generally, don’t train more than 3 days consecutively or less than 2 days consecutively.

Some boxes offer 2 classes per week and 3 classes per week options – at a significant discount. Boxes in busy areas may offer “off-peak” or “mid-day” plans – that means you can attend during the day – but not at peak gym hours. Have a very irregular schedule for attending the gym? You may want a punch card plan.

They’re great for running, but I soon realized I needed more functional shorts/spandex that stayed up during double-unders, allowed me to squat fully (Hello flexible material), and remained breathable for those long hours in the gym.
