The fourth stage is post-drome which occurs after a migraine. The symptoms are being moody, weak, confused and dizzy. The symptoms last for 24 hours.This stage lasts for a day.
There are some situations which trigger migraines. The most common are sleep changes, some foods, some beverages, hormonal changes, extreme physical exertion and environmental changes. Also, birth control pills can cause migraines.
There are individuals who are more prone to migraines. Women especially in their reproductive age are more likely to experience migraines than men. Also, if there is a history of migraines in your family, you can experience them.
First, to prevent migraines you have to know what triggers them. Take note of when and what triggers the migraines. After identifying the triggers, stay away from them. There are certain things you can do to prevent migraines when you are at work. They include, working with a chiropractor, practice good sitting posture, have a consistent sleeping and eating schedule and taking supplements that have minerals like magnesium.
People can do anything to prevent migraines. However, you simply cant avoid them at times. There are some effective migraine treatments. You can take medications that relieve pain such as ibuprofen.
